Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa is a term that covers a broad range of yoga classes. The word Vinyasa literally means, “to place in an intelligent order”.  Your instructor will guide you through sequences as you connect with your breath and quiet your mind. This technique is sometimes also called Vinyasa Flow, or just Flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance.

Beginner Flow: Introduction to Vinyasa Flow (connecting breath with movement). We will break down and go through an easy flow sequence, ignite our cores, build back strength and practice balancing. This class is suitable for all levels.

Mixed Flow: Mixed level Vinyasa class. This class is a moving meditation to break up your day and is suitable for all levels. Class is focused on alignment, the importance of living in the moment and keeping a light heart.

Power Vinyasa:  This class is for intermediate + students and will move through creative, challenging sequences.  Bring a towel, light heart and come ready to sweat it out!

Sunrise Flow:  This class is an amazing start to your busy, hectic day.  Set an intention for your day, loosen up, get focused and have a mental advantage over your co-workers as we work it out first thing in the morning.  The Village has showers so feel free to stay and get ready after class.

Candlelight Flow: A mixed level Vinyasa Flow class in candlelight, set to fun tunes to wind down your day.

Hip-Hop Power Flow:  Get your weekend started right!  Come get your Yoga-Thug on in this vigorous practice set to heart pumping, booty bouncing, gangsta-fied music.

Slow Flow:  A little too much fun Saturday night?  Hungover and want to puke?  We’ve been there.  Come sweat out the toxins in this slow moving Vinyasa Flow class.  If at any time it feels too much, take a break and do nothing…it’s totally acceptable in this class.
